DIY: Hanging Paper Pom Poms

I’m REALLY excited to share this tutorial with you guys. I was going through my Pinterest boards a couple weeks ago, deciding on what my next crafting projects were going to be.

My inspiration for this project came from these images:

A. Found here

B. From here

Here’s how I started:

What you need- A couple different-sized styrofoam balls, sewing pins, and a bajillion cupcake papers, hot glue gun/hot glue sticks

1. Take two cupcake papers and stick a pin through the center

2. Fold it in half and crumple it up

3. Hot glue where the pin and cupcake paper meet on the outside

(woops, focus.)

4. Next you want to stick the pin into the styrofoam ball. Make sure that the pin goes all the way in. Repeat that about a thousand times and you’ll end up with this:

So once I have my new apartment, I’m going to be hanging a couple of these at different lengths from the ceiling. The other two are smaller than this one and are multi-colored.

Will show you in a couple months. Haha. Stay tuned.

This might possibly be one of the easiest things that I could make for my wedding. I love it! So simple. I've just found your blog and I'm really enjoying it and I'm now following. Looking forward to more!!
