Link Up - Seven Things

Oh yes, it's Friday. Thank GOD. Too bad my weekend is already shot. BUT it's all for the greater good of Ben's graduation from high school!

So I decided that since there are a bunch of you new readers lurkin' around, that I would link up with Gentri Lee and answer some random questions, so you guys can get to know me a wee little bit more.

1. If you were to start your own business, what would it be?

It would be a badass vintage shop. Not an Etsy shop, an actual vintage shop preferably in Cambridge, MA. My favorite vintage shopping is at Oona's Outpost in Inman Square. Everyone who's anyone in Massachusetts should check it out.

2. You wake up on the wrong side of the bed, do you embrace your grumpiness or try to fight it?

I'd love to say that I try to fight it, but I absolutely 100% embrace it. If I'm effing pissed, let me be. Don't touch me. Don't look at me. Especially if I'm pmsing, ya know? Give a girl a break! I'm about to bleed out of a very crucial body part!

3. What's the very first memory you have?

Making out with my best friend, Fletcher, under the bed when we were three. YES, we were three. My mom caught us on several occasions. We were practicing! C'mon, guys!

Will you... I did get my first real kiss till I was 17. So I wasn't practicing for many years in between.

4. The world is ending, what do you do? Allow yourself to die? Fight? Hide? Etc.

I would want to watch. Especially if there were aliens involved. I love aliens. I would want to be friends with them. I used to lie in bed with Karina during sleep overs and talk to her at 3 in the morning about aliens. She would always tell me I was crazy, but she loved me anyway.

5. What is your favorite meal of the day?

Snack time. I love snacking. Nuts from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's Mediterranean Hummus. Um hi, howya doin'?!

6. How do you best learn? Visual? Listening? Hands on?

Visual. I need shit in front of me people. If you're trying to explain something to me without a visual, I gosta focus REAL hard and ask lots of questions. When I was a kid, my dad used to use basketballs and baseballs to explain the solar system. I really didn't get it. Gravity? What?

7. What is your favorite joke?

I don't tell jokes. I am a walking joke.
