Mmmmm… Gelato
This past weekend marked a month since Karina’s accident. It will probably be a month that I’ll remember as one of the worst of my life. I have days that I could have only had nightmares about… But surprisingly so, I’ve also had some really amazing days. My closest friends and family have embraced me, showered me with kindness, and have displayed love that reminds me of what God does for us everyday. The weekend proved to be more difficult than I realized it could. Sometimes I wasn’t even consciously thinking of my best friend, yet I would break down in someone’s arms at random. So to say the least, there have definitely been hills and valleys.
I was basically attached to my new camera, a used Canon Rebel; for I brought it everywhere except late Saturday night. It was pretty awesome. I got to spend time with almost the majority of my favorite people in the world, which was even more awesome.
I didn’t get a photograph of the mini pumpkin cheesecakes that were brought by a friend of Keais’. They were BOMB!
I ended my weekend with some really amazing people… They were also very hungry… And had been very grumpy before this little photo sesh was taken.
