I have a pretty big audition on Saturday that I'm preparing for. I'm pretty much ready to go and just need to get it over with at this point! So ready to just show 'em what I got, ya know? The anticipation really is the worst part about these types of things. My nerves never affected my performance until I was studying classical viola performance with a douchebag eight years ago. Scared shitless, I'll tell ya! But I am in front of hundreds of people playing the fiddle/vocals on an almost-weekly basis in a genre that I'm so much more comfortable with, so now I'm feeling quite confident!
The next 24 hours will go very slowly……...
