Here's a fun outfit from a couple of weeks ago. I actually sprained my ankle during the work the day while I was wearing this outfit, because of my damn clogs. They may be trendy right now, but they sure are dangerous for someone with weak ankles. I don't think I'll wear them again for a while… Does anyone know if Swedish Hasbeens are wobbly as well? I've wanted to purchase a pair, but a. they're super expensive and b. I'm afraid I will die walking around in them.

Where did this week go?! Jeez, I just can't believe it's already Wednesday! And here I am, home sick with a lovely stomach virus.

I was on my way home from work yesterday and stopped at CVS to get some toilet paper, because I knew that we had just finished our last roll and usually I'm more on top of those things. As I was walking down to get toilet paper I started feeling more and more nauseous. (I'd been feeling funky all day and hadn't been able to put my finger on it.) I quickly grabbed probably the most expensive one and self-checked out. As I hit the "approve" key on the keypad, I ripped the receipt out, grabbed the TP, and briskly walked (so no one would notice) to the side of the building where I knew the dumpsters were. And I just yacked. I yacked out everything that was NOT in my stomach out, and of course, decided not give a rat's ass because there was nothing I could do about it. 

And that's my story.

This is another amazing find. Fits like a freakin' glove, guys. I couldn't help myself. The damn Anthro rack is the bane of my existence!! I was wearing some baller earring too, but my photos didn't capture them. It was a pretty simple ensemble I styled, but sometimes, you just gotta go simple, folks.

It was my 25th birthday yesterday, and my friends and I have dubbed it birthday week. I've never been huge into birthdays, but the past couple years I've really wanted to celebrate! So twenty-five… tweeennttyyy-ffiiveee… Not sure how I'm feeling about it so far. I mean, a quarter of a century? This just doesn't feel right! 

BUT. God and I made a pact. At the beginning of the year I shouted out to him. I needed this year to be special… And so far, it has been one of the best years of my life. I've seen so many different parts of the states, and some big changes are in the works, so God has been sticking true to His promise. Although there has been an unexpected bump in the road, I think that I'll be alright. I always am, after all, eh? 

Here's a simple little outfit for a warm summer's day.

Has anyone noticed that I'm obsessed with polka-dots? It's a sick, sick obsession that I have. I'm really having trouble not buying things with polka-dots on them. Hi, my name is Emily, and I'm addicted to polka-dots. 

So this top… LET me tell you about how amazing this top is. I mean, really, I wore it three days in a row, because I loved it so much. It's from Anthro, which is probably my favorite chain-retail store out there. I think everyone can agree with me that we Anthro-addicts wish we could live, sleep, eat, and bathe in that store. But wo is me, I can't afford anything unless it's in the sale section… Or unless I'm SUPER depressed, which has maybe happened once. I don't like buying things in generally if they're not seriously marked down. But anyways, I digress. 

It was the end of the day and the face was mcgreasy.

The belt is probably my new favorite accessory. I got it at a sample sale at work. Sorry, guys!!!

This is a fun outfit I wore at the grand opening (to the public) of a new retail store opening for the company I work for. It's been quite exciting!

I'm quite proud of this outfit. I love, love, love everything about it!  Is that okay?... That I say that?
