As some of you may know, I'm on vacation this week, so I'm wearing strictly lounging outfits, even if I go out. I'm spending several days at my parents house in the suburbs, and boy, did I need some time away from the city! My dad took these suckers. Thanks dad!

June Wish List

So it's Tuesday - probably my least favorite day of the week. You're not as pumped for the week to start as you are on Monday, (hey! I like going to my job!) and it's not Wednesday or Thursday. GAH.

A lot of new readers there are around these parts, eh? (Yoda, anyone?) Every month I do a wish list. It's usually items from Etsy and some of my other favorite online stores. This week it is just Etsy, because I'm lazy. What of it?!

I ended up getting some note cards from Mab Graves, who is also doing a little giveaway till the end of the day today! Check it out here. (You have until the end of the day today, kiddies!) Anyways, Mab is seriously the sweetest little lady ever, so I absolutely adore working with her.

Is this not the most amazing phone from Fish Bone Deco? I need it. I want it in my new apartment in September.

So I haven't embroidered since I was probably nine or ten. My mom gave me a little project to do and I learned on my own. I don't remember anything about it. But lately I've been itching for a new hobby. Are there any embroiderers out there? Isn't this pattern from Sew Jenaissance darling?!

May Wish List

Thank the good and holy Lord that it's Friday. CRAZY week at work, and next week is just going to be crazier. BUT boy, do I have some goodies to share with you guys!

March Wish List

Can you believe it's already March?! It's kind of freaking me out, but let's just go with it...

Mystic Moon: Etsy Purchase

So, like every other blogger on Planet Earth, I’m a little addicted to Etsy, and every month I do an Etsy wish list.

Well, on my February Wish List, I found this awesome Etsy shop: Mystic Moon. She sells really great jewelry, including little itty bitty nose hoops and stud.

I’ve been on the hunt since I was 17 to find a hoop that fit my nose. They were always way too big and the sterling silver irritates my nose. (I learned that the hard way during my early nose-pierced years.)

So after I found this shop and all of the amazing pieces she makes, I found this little sucker:

It is 14k gold filled with a copper wrap accent. I had a hunch that this would be perfect for me, and I had to do it, because it was only $12.00.

So, per usual, the shop owner sent it wonderfully packaged.

And I was wonderfully satisfied with my purchase.

DIY: Heart Banner

I think Thursdays are my favorite day of the week. There is always so much to look forward to!

Today I'm going to share with you a super easy project that I just finished. Of course it took me way longer than it should have because I always procrastinate with my DIY projects.

Here was my inspiration that I found on Pinterest:

So since I didn't have that super cute heart cut-out, I just traced one of my own, thus making the project take a long longer than it should have.

Please excuse my blurry photos. Not sure what was goin' on with me that night...

My good friend Rob likes to call himself the "architect" of this project since he gave me the glue stick that I used, and also cut out a good amount of the hearts. This project is pretty self-explanatory, so I don't think I have to give you detailed steps on how to do it.

Here's the finished product, hanging in front of my bedroom door.
